PROVO, Utah-- The University of Washington men's swimming team continued its challenging schedule in the New Year, taking on its second top-25 team in as many weeks. Washington freshman Erez Fern won Washington's only other individual event, placing first in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:52.18.
The Huskies closed out the meet on a high note, placing first and second in the final event, the 400 freestyle relay. Anthony Falaniko, Brenton Dowdy, Niko Micin and Mason Amick teamed up to win the event in a time of 3:13.69, while Jared Osborne, David Bai, Cohen and Ivan Perhat put together a second place finish with a time of 3:19.62.
