Jan. 28, 2007

USC freshman Jamie Lovemark wrapped up his second pro tournament as an amateur with a par-72 to finish tied for 39th at the 2007 Buick Invitational on Sunday (Jan. 28) at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Calif.

Lovemark, who finished the fall season No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, finished with a 72-hole 285 (66-74-73-72, -3). It's a step up from his pro tournament debut last summer when he tied for 54th at the 2006 Western Open.

Former Trojan All-American Kevin Stadler was also in action and finished tied for 23rd with a 283 (68-72-69-74, -5).
