His other 10 FGs made this season (Pepperdine, Texas) were 30-point games...Roby needs two points to move into 13th place on CU's all-time scoring list (Pat Frink, 1288, 1965-68, 17.4 ppg, 74 games); CU great Jay Humphries is next, 12th at 1306 points...Dominique Coleman leads the team over the last five games averaging 7.0 rpg. and 3.8 apg., he's third at 9.8 ppg....In seven Big 12 games, Coleman leads  CU with 7.0 rpg., 3.9 apg....In his last five games, Xavier Silas is tied for the team lead in points (w/ Roby) 13.6 ppg., and is tied for third on the boards (5.0; he's also 24-of-53 FG% (.453)...In their last three starts, Silas is averaging 12.7 ppg. and 4.7 rpg; Jeremy Williams 11.0 ppg., 5.0 rpg....Roby, Silas, Marcus King-Stockton have started all seven Big 12 games...TEAM: CU's 30 turnovers at Kansas were the most since committing 30 at KU (Feb. 15, 1992)...CU has used 10 different starting combos in 17 games...In their last two roads with over 10,000 people in attendance, the Buffs have lost by an average of 22 pts....CU has had a better shooting FG% than Iowa State, Central Florida, Denver--all wins ...CU has never been 1-7 in Big 12 play. In 1998-99 they started 2-8 after their first 10 games...CU has outrebounded the opponent in their last five games.

LAST TIME OUT (complete box on page 20): Richard Roby's 30 points weren't enough to pass up No. 8 Kansas on Saturday, as the Buffs fell 97-74, their 35th loss to Kansas in their last 36 meetings. Colorado (5-12, 1-6 Big 12) closed within nine points in the second half. But then Mario Chalmers hit two free throws and Rush made his third 3-pointer to trigger a 20-5 run by the Jayhawks. CU, which had never before lost six of its first seven Big 12 games, fell to 7-57 in Lawrence. The Buffs committed 30 turnovers, one short of their Big 8 record of 31 at Oklahoma, Feb. 20, 1985.

crashing the boards: In seven Big 12 games, CU has six players with at least 29 rebounds and all are averaging over four a game. Dominique Coleman heads the list (49, 7.0 rpg.), followed by Jeremy Williams (34, 4.9). Xavier Silas and Marcus King-Stockton each have 32 (4.6). Jermyl Jackson-Wilson and Richard Roby round out the list with 29 and 28, respectively (4.1, 4.0 rpg.). CU is a fourth out of 12 schools in rebounding (35.9) and fourth on the offensive glass (12.7).
