No. 57 Men's Tennis Tops USF 4-3

TEMPE, Ariz. - The ASU Men's Tennis team wrapped the second week of their 2007 campaign Saturday as they claimed a 4-3 win over the University of South Florida at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center. The Sun Devils now advance to 4-0 on the season.
The Devils led the way in doubles as T.J. Bellama and Murilo Souza paired up to beat USF's Daniel Daudt and Mark Gattiker 8-2 in the No. 3 spot with teammates Matt Brooklyn and Wes Miller sealing the point with an 8-3 win over Henning Hipp and Marc Jaeger.
The doubles point proved to be vital as the Bulls rallied back in singles to take three from the Devils, but ASU's Juan Carlos Rebaza and Matt Brooklyn came through again with singles wins in straight sets and following with the winning point was Murilo Souza defeating USF's Mark Gattiker 6-3, 6-1.
The Sun Devils will put their perfect season to the test next weekend as they take on Santa Clara on Friday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. and Georgia Tech Saturday, February 10 at 12:00 p.m. Both matches will be played at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center.
