CHICAGO - Nikki Marshall, standout freshman on the University of Colorado women's soccer team and the 2006 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, is currently at training camp for the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team.

Marshall was the Big 12's leading scorer with 17 goals and three assists, and earned a slew of honors following the 2006 season.

This marks Marshall's second invitation to a U.S. Soccer national camp, the first coming in January when she attended training in Los Angeles with the U-21 national team.

This is the first training camp of the new cycle for the U-20 side, and has been underway since February 4 and will wrap up on the 11th at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.  Head coach Jillian Ellis has named twenty-eight players to participate and two more will  be added.

The U-20s will play their first international matches of the new year when they travel to Mexico from Feb. 18-23 to take on the Mexican women's national team in two games.
