Stanford Diving Team to Compete at the Pac-10 Championships

Stanford divers will begin postseason action with the 2007 Pac-10 Men's and Women's Diving Championships. The competition will take place Friday-Sunday, February 9-11 at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, WS. The men's 1-meter event will be held on Friday with the prelims from 11:00am-12:15pm and the finals from 4:00pm-4:30pm. The men's 3-meter event will take place on Saturday with prelims from 2:15pm-3:30pm and the finals from 5:00pm-5:30pm. The men's platform prelims will be held on Sunday from 10:30am-11:30am, followed by the tower final from 2:30pm-3:00pm.
2006-07 Top Performer:
Sophomore Dwight Dumais has been Stanford's top diver this season, posting high scores for the team on both the 1-meter and the 3-meter. Dumais recorded high scores of 360.55 points on the 1-meter and 368.80 on the 3-meter at the Texas Invitational.
Last Season at the Pac-10 Championships:
Dwight Dumais recorded three strong performances as a freshman last season for the Cardinal diving team at the Pac-10 Championships. He posted a second place finish on both the 1-meter and 3-meter events and also placed third on the platform final.
