WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - UCLA diver Sara Clark has been named Pac-10 Women's Diver of the Month for January, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

A senior from Los Gatos, Calif., Clark blew away her competition in the three-meter throughout the month of January as she won the event in each meet that month.

Clark started the month with a win against UC San Diego on the three-meter, the only board she contested that meet. She then went on to place first against Pac-10 foes California and Stanford on the three-meter. Clark took fourth on the one-meter against the Cardinal but went on to finish second in the event against the Golden Bears.

This is the first monthly honor for Clark and UCLA's fourth Diver of the Month all-time.

2006-07 PAC-10 WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE MONTH: Nov. - Cassidy Krug, Sr., STAN; Dec. - Tess Schofield, So., UCLA; Jan. - Sara Clark, Sr., UCLA.
