Men's Golf Finishes in Third at Hawaii-Hilo Invitational

Kona, Hawaii - The Arizona State University men's golf team finished in third place in the final round of the Hawaii-Hilo Invitational held in Kona, Hawaii. The Sun Devils shot a 24-under 816 (272-267-277). Stanford finished in first place at 37-under after a play off with Oklahoma State for the top-spot.

Individually, sophomore All-American Benjamin Alvarado Holley shot a 9-under 201 (66-68-67) to tie for fifth. Senior Niklas Lemke tied for 15th after shooting a 6-under 204 (66-69-69). Sophomore Steele DeWald shot a 2-under 208 (72-63-72) to tie for 35th. Freshman Tristan Bierenbroodspot tied for 47th after shooting a 1-over 211 (68-74-69). Fellow freshman Knut Borshiem was close behind shooting a 2-over 212 to finish in a tie for 52nd.

Oklahoma State's Jonathan Moore finished in first place after shooting a 15-under 195.

Next up, ASU competes in the Southern Highlands Championship in Las Vegas, Nev., March 9-11.
