No. 9 Cal Downs No. 15 UCLA, 7-0

Berkeley, Calif. - The 15th-ranked UCLA women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 9 Cal at the Hellman Tennis Center on Friday. With the loss, the Bruins fall to 4-3 overall, while Cal improves to 5-2.

Cal swept the doubles point before taking victories in all six singles matches. The Bruins extended three matches to three sets, however ended up dropping close decisions on all three courts.

The Bruins will look to regroup tomorrow, taking on top-ranked Stanford at 1:00 p.m.
