LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) -- Jay Jackson scored 28 points to lead Texas Tech past Colorado 95-74 on Saturday night.
The win was the second straight for Tech, which beat No. 6 Texas A&M earlier this week to snap a five-game skid.
Richard Roby led the Buffs with a team-high 17 points. Jermyl Jackson-Wilson, Xavier Silas and Dominique Coleman added 15, 14, and 11 points, respectively. Roby is now 10th all-time on CU's scoring charts with 1,354 career points.
Tech (17-10, 6-6 Big 12) was sharp from 3-point range, hitting 11 of 25, and led by double digits for much of the game. The Red Raiders took their largest lead at 64-38 when Martin Zeno hit two free throws with more than 10 minutes left in the game.
Jermyl Jackson-Wilson tried to bring the Buffaloes back, scoring 10 of 12 Colorado points in less than three minutes to whittle the deficit to 71-51 with 8:10 remaining in the game.
Colorado got within 78-63 when Xavier Silas hit a 3-pointer with just under five minutes left but the Buffaloes could get no closer.
The Buffaloes shot a season-high 59.6% (14-of-21) from the field and they were 14-of-21 (66.7%) in the first half.
Colorado will be back on the road Wednesday, February 21 when they take on the Iowa State Cyclones at 6 p.m.
