Kim Jasmer To Compete At Women's NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

SEATTLE - Washington sophomore Kim Jasmer will compete in the 2007 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The meet will run March 8-10 at the University Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
Jasmer is making her first trip to the NCAA meet and will swim in the 200, 500 and 1650 freestyle. Jasmer is seeded fifth in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:42.86. She is also seeded ninth in the 200 freestyle (1:46.27) and 1650 freestyle (16:14.96). Jasmer holds the school records in all three events, setting each at the Pac-10 Championships in Long Beach, Calif., last month.
Jasmer will swim the 500 freestyle on Thursday, March 8, the 200 freestyle on Friday, and the 1650 freestyle Saturday. Preliminaries begin each day at 9 a.m. (PST) and finals will begin at 5 p.m.
