2007 WSU Summer Soccer Camp Schedule Now Available

March 7, 2007

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State soccer has announced its schedule for the 2007 WSU Summer Soccer Camps which include three types of camps for boys and girls.

The summer will be highlighted by the Girls Residential Camp which takes place July 8-12 and lets girls ages 9-13 and 14-18 participate in the true Cougar experience. The camp focuses on both individual and team skills and teaches positional drills, agility work and competitive game situations. Campers will spend the day at WSU's soccer facilities before retiring for the evening in the dorm rooms.

WSU soccer will also offer a co-ed 'Cougar Cubs' camp that is designed to introduce the fundamentals of the game of soccer to children ages 4-6. In addition, 'The Cougs' is a striker and goalkeeper camp for boys ages 9-18.

All three camps will be staffed and coached by WSU's head soccer coach Matt Potter and assistant coaches Lindsey Jorgensen and Erin Otagaki.
