The Red Raiders added one two more throughout the game as ASU's offense slowly came to life, chipping away at the lead inning by inning putting four on the board in four innings before finally jumping ahead for good with a three-run fifth inning with lead-off walks to Heidi Knabe and Michelle Smith who came home on a double to right field from Mindy Cowles as the Sun Devils hung on for a 7-6 win over the Raiders.
Game Two saw the Missouri Tigers shut down by Katie Burkhart, who threw one-hit complete game shut-out with nine strikeouts while being backed by the Sun Devil offense, who put six runs on the board on seven hits.
ASU put two on the board in the first as Kaitlin Cochran and Bianca Cruz scored off singles from Mindy Cowles and Katie Crabb.
