Bruins Head Up the 405 to Compete at Northridge Relays This Weekend

The UCLA men's track and field team will send a group of nearly 20 athletes to the Northridge Relays Thursday through Saturday as the Bruins will compete in the second outdoor meet of the season.

All event groups (except for the throws) will be in action. Eight distance runners will run the 1500m - Austin Ramos, Henry Hagenbuch, Drew Shackleton, Kyle Shackleton, Alex Crabill, Jake Matthews, Marco Anzures and Kevin Sullivan.

Jordan Calhoun will run the 100m and 200m, while Tracy Session and Torsten Niegmann will open up in the 400m hurdles and Keawa Block will run the high hurdles.

Steven Taylor will compete in the triple jump, while Michael Johnson, Dominique Easterling and Alex Pearlstone will be in the long jump. Easterling will also compete in the high jump.

Casey and Scott DiCesare, along with Andreas Drbal will compete in the decathlon, their first 10-event competition of the season.
