IRVING, Texas - Sophomore Monica Milewski recorded her second career 2007 Big 12 women's tennis Player of the Week honor helping the University of Colorado to a pair of 4-3 wins last week, as the Buffaloes topped No. 43 Oklahoma State and handed No. 12 William & Mary its first loss of the season.

The Park Ridge, Ill. native playing at No. 1 singles, had a 6-3, 6-3 tally over Iryna Tkachenko of OSU.  She then rallied to defeat the No. 5 player in the country, Megan Moulton-Levy, in a 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 win.  In the final set, she trailed 3-0 and 4-1 before posting five straight points for the victory.

Milewski has won eight straight singles matches and also had two wins at No. 2 doubles in the matches last week.

For the season, she is 11-2 in dual play, 5-0 against the Big 12 Conference at No. 1 singles and 20-5 for the year.

It's the second conference player of the week honor in three weeks for Milewski, who earned her first honor of the season back on March 5.

CU (10-3, 5-0 Big 12) travels to Texas A&M (March 22) and Texas (March 24) this week for a pair of Big 12 Conference matches.
