Jeanette Bolden's No. 9 UCLA women's track and field team will travel to Austin, TX this Thursday through Saturday for the 80th annual Clyde Littleton Texas Relays as a small, but competitive group of athletes will compete for the Bruins.

The women, who earned a No. 9 ranking in Trackwire's first outdoor rankings of the season, are coming off of a second-place finish at the Cal/Nevada Championships. They have tallied 17 regional qualifiers and will look to add to that total after this weekend's competition.

The Bruins will race in all of the relay events being contested in Texas - 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, 4x800m, sprint medley and distance medley.

Allie Bohannon and Ashley Caldwell will be the only individual runners in the meet as both will run in the 'A' section of the 1500m on Saturday. Caldwell ran the ninth-fastest time in the country last weekend at Stanford (4:23.38) and Bohannon ranks seventh in the country in the 800m (2:07.06). Bohannon earned indoor All-American honors in the mile in March, while Caldwell earned outdoor All-American honors in the 1500m last June.

Megan Jamerson and Jacqueline Nguyen will compete in the 'B' section of the pole vault on Friday, while Ingrid Kantola will jump in the 'A' section on Saturday. All three vaulters currently rank in the top-10 in the country with Jamerson and Nguyen tied for fourth (13-3.50) and Kantola tied for sixth (13-1.50).

The 2007 NCAA Indoor long jump champion, Rhonda Watkins, will compete in her second outdoor meet of the season as she jumps in the 'A' section of the long jump. She currently holds the No. 1 mark in the country at 21-9.50. Renee Williams will compete in the 'B' section of the long jump. Both women will compete on Friday.

Williams is also slated to compete in the 'B' section of the triple jump on Friday, along with Nicole Duhart.

Keneisha Creary, who competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March, will open up the outdoor season in the high jump on Friday.
