Men's Golf Ranked Eighteenth in Preseason Poll

Sept. 6, 2007

NEW YORK - The Arizona State men's golf team begins the 2007-2008 season ranked eighteenth in the Preseason Golf World/NGCA Coaches' Poll. ASU, coming off a strong season, hopes to continue its success after losing two All-Americans from last year's team. ASU welcomes a crop of young players looking to step up.

ASU follows fellow Pac-10 teams Stanford (1), UCLA (5), and USC (6) in the preseason top 25 rankings.

The Sun Devils open the season at the PING/Golfweek Preview in West Lafayette, Indiana, hosted by Purdue University. The tournament runs from Sept. 22-23.
