Feature: After Big Win, Oregon Hosts Fresno State

- Following an historic victory, Oregoncan make some history for Mike Bellotti.

The 19th-ranked Ducks can register their 100th win underBellotti when they host Fresno State on Saturday.

Bellotti improved to 99-48 with the Ducks when his team crushedhost Michigan, 39-7, last weekend.

Dennis Dixon threw for three touchdowns, ran for another scoreand totaled 368 yards of offense for Oregon, which handedMichigan its worst home loss since 1968 - the year before legendBo Schembechler took over the Wolverines.

A senior, Dixon is fifth nationally in pass efficiency rating(193.2).

The Ducks are 26-1 in non-conference games in Autzen Stadiumunder Bellotti.

While Oregon is coming off an emphatic victory, Fresno Statelost a heartbreaker at Texas A&M, coming up short in tripleovertime, 47-45.

Tom Brandstater threw three touchdowns but had a two-pointconversion pass fail after a nine-yard TD toss to Bear Pascoe.

Oregon has a 5-2 lead in the all-time series after winning thepast five matchups. Last year, the Ducks posted a 31-24 triumphin Fresno.
