USC's Asia Kaczor Named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- USC outside hitter Asia Kaczor has been named the Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week for Sept. 10- 16, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Kaczor, a senior from Wroclaw, Poland, earned MVP honors at the Sports Imports Classic in Columbus, Ohio in addition to being named to her third all-tournament team.

For the tournament, Kaczor recorded 39 kills (4.88 kpg) in 93 attempts with 13 errors. She recorded double-figure kills in both matches with a game-high 23 kills against No. 20 Ohio State. Kaczor led the Trojans with 16 kills without recording an error and hit .471 against Purdue helping USC improve to 10-0 overall.

This is the third weekly honor for Kaczor, and USC's 40th Pac-10 Player of the Week all-time.
