USC answered with a 10-2 run with a block from freshman Kimmee Roleder tying the game at 15-15, followed by a Kaczor kill. Maricic started a streak of four for the Ducks as Oregon retook the lead at 19-16. A ball-handling call on the Ducks turned the tables for the Trojans, who reeled off another 10-2 run. Kaczor used a solo block on the right side to cap the game.

Carico used a '310' kill in the second game to help USC break out from a 6-5 deficit, scoring eight of the next nine points for the 14-7 lead. Meyers recorded back-to-back kills for the Ducks as Oregon cut the deficit to 19-13. Two Trojan blocks reversed the trend and an ace from freshman Mychaela Miller kept the Ducks at bay as USC took a 2-0 lead in the match.

Roleder started another streak for the Trojans, who forced the Ducks to take a timeout in the third game down by a 15-8 margin. Despite a 26-18 score later in the game, Oregon came back with four straight before Gysin stopped the Ducks' momentum as USC went on to earn the sweep.

The Women of Troy hit the road next week for two Pac-10 matches. USC travels to Washington State on Thursday (Oct. 18) and No. 8 Washington on Friday (Oct. 19).
