WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- The 2007-08 Pacific-10 Conference basketball television package features 81 men's contests telecast to national and regional audiences, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
The Pac-10 men's basketball package includes 48 games nationally or regionally on FSN, five nationally or regionally on CBS (including the Pac-10 Tournament championship game), four regionally on ABC, and two nationally on ESPN. Through other conference television agreements and various in-season tournaments, Pac-10 teams will make at least 21 appearances on one of the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU) and one appearance on CSTV.
Furthermore, all games of the inaugural Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series (Nov. 29 - Dec. 2) will be televised by FSN and through the ESPN family of networks.
At least 50 additional local men's telecasts will be arranged and announced by the institutions. Many of these telecasts arranged by the institutions will be aired on one of several FSN regionals and other regional sports networks in the Pac-10 market (FSN Arizona, FSN Bay Area, FSN Northwest, FSN Prime Ticket, FSN West, Comcast SportsNet, and Oregon Sports Network).
