Women's Golf Ranked Second in Golfworld/Coaches Poll

Tempe, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's golf team moved up in the rankings to second in the most recent Golfworld/NGCA Coaches Poll. ASU received four first place votes. Duke continues to hold the top spot in the poll followed by Arizona State, UCLA, USC and Florida.

The Sun Devils moved into second due to their come behind victory last week at the Stanford Intercollegiate. ASU shot an 8-under 276 in the final round to erase a 12-shot deficit and earn their first victory of the season.

Next up, the Sun Devils kick off their spring season at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge is Palos Verdes, Calif., February 11-13, 2008.
