USC's Opening Game Against Mercer To Be Carried Live On Trojan TV All-Access
Nov. 7, 2007
When the USC's men's basketball team tips off the 2007-08 season by hosting Mercer this Saturday, Nov. 10, the only place for fans to watch the game and O.J. Mayo's collegiate debut live besides sitting in the Galen Center will be on Trojan TV All-Access. It's the first of five games to air exclusively on USC's live online video streaming programming.
The USC Athletic Department will offer the games against Mercer, Fresno Pacific (Exhibition - Dec. 8), Delaware State (Dec. 17), Cal Poly (Dec. 22) and UC Riverside (Dec. 29) to all active monthly or annual subscribers of Trojan TV All-Access, while others will be able to access these special online events on a pay-per-view basis. The pricing for fans wanting the Men's Basketball package of all five games live is $19.99, while fans wanting to purchase the games on an individual basis can do so for $4.99 each. Trojan TV All-Access can be purchased by going to the USC athletics web site: usctrojans.com.
The USC men's basketball team is coming off a school-record 25-win season and a trip to the Sweet 16 and enters this season surrounded by excitement. Forward Taj Gibson, a 2006-07 Pac-10 All-Freshman selection, returns to anchor the young Trojan squad. Guards Daniel Hackett and Dwight Lewis who started a combined 27 games last season, also are key members of the strong returning nucleus. This season USC claimed the top recruiting class after the regular signing period by ESPN.com and Hoopscoop.com, highlighted by the electric O.J. Mayo and talented Davon Jefferson.
This promises to be an exciting season of Trojan basketball and it all begins on Saturday. If you can't make it to the game in person, the next best thing is to catch all the action on Trojan TV All-Access.
