PULLMAN, Wash. - Sophomore Kiersten Dallstream was named All-Pacific-10 Conference Women's Soccer First Team, conference commissioner Tom Hansen announced Thursday. Senior Brooke Bemis garnered second team honors while seniors Brynn Bemis and Allison Scurich as well as sophomore Carly Dobratz received honorable mention.

Dallstream is the first Cougar to earn first team selection since Deka DeWitt in 1998 and the team had its most honorees since 2000 when eight WSU student-athletes were named to all-conference teams.

A forward from Fountain Hills, Ariz., Dallstream led the Cougars with 10 goals and 24 points, tied for eighth and tied for 10th, respectively, on the WSU single-season lists. She tied for seventh on the WSU single-season list with three game-winning goals.

Brooke Bemis, a forward from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, tallied nine goals, including three game-winners, and 21 points in 2007. Her 12 career goals are tied for 10th-best at WSU.

Brynn Bemis, a goalkeeper from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, earned her second straight honorable mention accolade after posting 11 wins (tied for third), 80 saves (ninth) and a 1.02 goals against average (ninth), all of which rank on the Cougar single-season lists.

Dobratz, a sophomore midfielder from Gilbert, Ariz., and Scurich, a senior defender from Laguna Niguel, Calif., both earned honorable mention after being named Pac-10 second team in 2006. Dobratz tied for the team lead with five assists and scored a pair of game-winning goals. Scurich tallied four goals, including one game-winner, and added two assists.
