Men's Divers Successful On First Day Of Purdue Invite

Stanford men's diving posted two top five finishes this evening at the Purdue Invite. Brent Eichenseer and Nathan Kim led the way for the Cardinal as they competed on the one-meter event in the first day of competition.

In the men's one-meter diving, Stanford freshman Eichenseer earned a runner-up finish as he scored 309.45 points, good enough for the NCAA qualifying standard. Teammate Kim took fifth place in the event, scoring 288.55 points, while Casey Weston posted 218.95 points in the prelims to finish 12th overall. The Cardinal tallied 31 team points after the first day of competition.

The divers return to action tomorrow, November 17 at the Purdue Invite in West Lafayette, IN.
