USC's Asia Kaczor Named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- USC opposite hitter Asia Kaczor has been named the Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week for Nov. 12- 18, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Kaczor, a senior from Wroclaw, Poland, led the eighth-ranked Trojans to victories last weekend over No. 5 Washington and Washington State. Against the Huskies, Kaczor set USC and Pac-10 Conference records with 44 kills and 100 attempts in the five-game win on Friday. The following night, Kaczor had 11 kills and two aces in a 3-0 sweep of Washington State.

For the weekend, Kaczor hit .285, totaled 55 kills (6.88 kpg) and 15 digs (2.62 dpg).

It is Kaczor's fifth weekly honor and USC's 42nd Pac-10 Player of the Week all-time.
