All three Pac-10 teams will host third round action, with games Fri., Nov. 23 or Sat., Nov. 24 ... The Bruins, winners of their last 15 games, will take on No. 4 Virginia on Fri., Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. at Drake Stadium on the UCLA campus ... The Bruins began the 2007 tournament with a 3-1 win over Cal State Fullerton in the first round, and a 4-0 shutout of Oklahoma State in the second round ... UCLA and Virginia have met four times in women's soccer, with the Bruins leading the all-time series 2-1-1 ... The two teams have met only once during the NCAA Tournament, as the Bruins took a 5-0 win over the Cavaliers in the 2005 quarterfinals ... SR MF Danesha Adams scored an NCAA Tournament record four goals in that match ... JR MF Christina DiMartino has been unstoppable through two games of the postseason as she had a hand in all three Bruins goals against Fullerton, finishing the match with a goal and two assists ... DiMartino added two more assists in Sunday's second round game ... Stanford has advanced to the sweet 16 after its 7-0 rout of Sacramento State in the first round, followed by a showdown with CALIFORNIA (15-5-1) in the second round that saw the Cardinal win 7-6 on penalty kicks (1-1, 2OT, 7-6 PK) ... Stanford will play unseeded Connecticut on Fri., Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium on the Cardinal campus ... Stanford has just completed its 20th season in a row with 10 or more wins, and earned a berth into the NCAA Tournament for the 10th straight year ... Last season the Cardinal advanced to the sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, where they were knocked off by Clemson in a 4-2 penalty kick shootout ... SO MF Kristin Stannard recorded two goals on the weekend, including the team's lone goal in Sunday's game with the Golden Bears ... Stannard now has four goals on the season ... For the first time in USC history, the second-seeded Women of Troy have advanced to the round of 16 following their 1-0 double-overtime win at Missouri in the second round last weekend ... USC also defeated Creighton 3-0 in the first round ... USC had been knocked out of the postseason in the second round six times, including the past two seasons ... The two postseason victories brings the Trojans' overall record to 16-3-2, tying the program record for wins ... JR MF Ashley Nick, a first team All-Pac-10 selection, sent in a diving header off a throw-in the 104th minute of play to send USC to the sweet 16 ... USC will host No. 3 Florida on Sat., Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Los Angeles Coliseum ... USC has only hosted three NCAA first round matches at the Coliseum in the past - a 2-1 overtime win over Washington in 1998, a 1-0 overtime loss to SMU and a 2-1 win over San Diego in 2000 ... However, USC has a 26-5-3 all-time record at the Coliseum.
