Volley-Blog: Ashley Aratani
Nov. 23, 2007
Every Wednesday during the season a different senior Husky Volleyball player will write a blog entry for GoHuskies.com. This week we hear from Ashley Aratani
I can't believe it's my last weekend of playing in Hec Edmundson Pavilion. Friday night is already senior night! It is definitely a weird feeling to think that I will be playing in my final home game. It feels like only yesterday that I was a little freshman coming into the program. I have had a wonderful experience playing at the University of Washington in front of such a great crowd. You guys are the BEST and keep up the creative cheering (and dancing)!
> It's finally Thanksgiving weekend! My favorite part about Thanksgiving, besides the food and not having school, is being able to see my family. Every year they come up for Thanksgiving and we go to my relatives' house to celebrate the holiday. There are so many things I am grateful for - my friends and family, my health, school, playing volleyball, having wonderful coaches and teammates, you the fans, the beach, and much more. I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Turkey Day!!!
P.S. Good luck to the football team and keep the Apple Cup were it belongs- UW
