No. 11 Cal Men's Swimming Competes in Final Day of Husky Invitational

SEATTLE - The No. 11-ranked Cal men's swimming competed in six events Saturday at the Husky Invitational long course time trials, held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.

NCAA qualifiying times for the Golden Bears were senior William Copeland in the 100 Meter Free with a time of 51.50 (NCAA B); senior Jernej Godec and senior Joe Whittington in the 50 Meter Free with times of 23.33 and 23.37 respectively (both NCAA B); junior David Russell and senior Mark Eckert in the 100 Meter Back with times of 56.60 (NCAA A) and 57.34 (NCAA OT) respectively; and freshman Damir Dugonjic in the 100 Meter Breast with a time of 1:04.57 (NCAA OT).

The Bears have time off before they face Michigan, January 2, 2008, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
