WACO, Texas (AP) -Angela Tisdale scored a career-high 24 points and No. 10 Baylor beat Oregon 80-45 on Wednesday night.
Jhasmin Player scored 15 points and Jessica Morrow 14 for the Lady Bears (7-0).
Ellie Manou led Oregon (5-4) with nine points and was one of just two Ducks to score more than one basket. Oregon shot 23 percent for the game, 12 percent in the first half.
Player made all three of her 3-point attempts after going 0-for-4 in Baylor's previous six games. For her career, Player had made just one 3-pointer in 10 attempts.
Danielle Wilson set a Baylor record with nine blocked shots and the Lady Bears tied a school record with 15 blocked shots on the night.
The Bears ended a 12-day layoff for finals, and the rust showed over the first five minutes. Baylor briefly fell behind, 5-4, with 16:19 to play in the first period. The score was tied 8-8 with 14:51 left before the Lady Bears closed out the half on a 36-3 run and went on a 16-0 run over the final 3:55 to lead 44-11 halftime.
At the half, Morrow and Tisdale each had as many points as the entire Oregon squad.
