Former ASU basketball player Shawn Redhage has graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in construction. Since finishing his Sun Devil career in 2003 for the NCAA Tournament-bound Sun Devils, Redhage has played overseas, mainly in Australia. The degree he earned requires five-years of coursework and is one of the toughest at ASU.

The Lincoln, Neb., native was one of the top student-athletes at Arizona State and in the Pac-10 during his career (1999-2003) as he posted a 3.61 grade point average and earned Pac-10 All-Academic honors three times (2001-2003). He earned All-Tournament honors at three different venues (Puerto Rico Shootout in the fall of 1999 and Holiday Classic and NABC Classic in early 2000) and also earned 2003 Verizon Academic All-District VIII honors. He made 235-of-303 (.776) free throws in his four-year career and also had 76 blocks, tied for tenth-best in ASU history entering the 2007-2008 season.
