Buehler and O'Hara Named NSCAA All-Americans

Senior defender Rachel Buehler and sophomore forward Kelley O'Harawere named second team All-Americans by the National Soccer CoachesAssociation of America this week. The nomination wasBuehler's second consecutive after earning a spot on the second teamlast year.
Buehler and O'Hara are two of seven Pac-10 players listed amongthe 40 players listed on the three teams. With her first suchnomination, O'Hara becomes Stanford soccer's 27th all-timeAll-American.
O'Hara led the Cardinal with 23 points, tallying nine goals andfive assists to help lead Stanford to a 15-3-5 record and their secondconsecutive Sweet 16 appearance. Buehler anchored a defense thatallowed just .74 goals per game and recorded nine shutouts on theyear.
The latest accolades are among a bundle that O'Hara and Buehlerhave piled up in the last month. O'Hara was named a M.A.C. HermannTrophy Semifinalist, while Buehler has been named the ESPN TheMagazine Academic All-American of the Year, Soccer Buzz player of theyear finalist, the U.S. National Team Training Camp Roster, Lowe'sSenior Class First Team, a Toyo Pac-10 Scholar Athlete of the Year andto the Pac-10 All-Academic First Team. Both players were named TopDrawer All-Americans and US Soccer Young Female Athlete Finalists.
