Cal to Hold Think Pink Night Against Arizona State

Dec. 20, 2007

BERKELEY, Calif. - The Cal Athletic Department will hold the first-annual 'Think Pink Night', presented by Bank of the West, for the Thursday, Feb. 14, game against Arizona State. In an effort to promote cancer awareness and early detection, all fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. There will be plenty of pink giveaways, and the goal is to pack Haas Pavilion.

Both teams will wear pink t-shirts during warm-ups, and both coaching staffs will wear a pink article of clothing to support the cause.

Fans who wear pink to the game can purchase discounted $3 general admission tickets. Tickets can be purchased online through or by calling (800) GO-BEARS.

Fans are encouraged to donate to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation when they enter the arena. Volunteers will be available on the concourse to take donations.

Check out the Cal women's basketball page at to find out more information as it becomes available.
