Follow Cal Football Signing Day Live On

BERKELEY - Fans will have the opportunity to follow the excitement of National Letter of Intent Signing Day by visiting on Wednesday, Feb. 6. will provide live updates as letters are faxed and approved by the Golden Bear administration.

The first Wednesday in February is the first day of the signing period for football players. High school athletes can fax their official intent to attend a certain school beginning that day. Updates are expected on shortly after 6 a.m. (Pacific). Along with the news of the official signing, biographical information and video highlights of the signees is expected to be available. So be sure to visit on Wednesday morning.

The Golden Bears posted their sixth straight winning season in 2007, capping the year with a come-from-behind 42-36 triumph over Air Force in the Bell Helicopters Armed Forces Bowl. The bowl victory was the fourth for Tedford - no other Cal coach has won more than two. It is the first time in program history that Cal has advanced to five straight bowl games and the first time in over 50 years that the Bears have posted six straight winning seasons.
