No. 6 California Women's Tennis Postpones Matches Against USF and UC Davis

BERKELEY - The No. 6 California women's tennis team will reschedule its matches against USF and UC Davis to a later date head coach Amanda Augustus announced today. The Golden Bears were originally set to take on the the two teams in a daytime double-header but have chosen to pursue a later date due to inclement weather conditions. The Bears have now had three consecutive matches cancelled or postponed due to weather beginning first with their match against No. 18 Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif. The Cal women hold a 1-0 record on the young dual season having dispatched No. 41 Long Beach State on Jan. 26 in a 7-0 rout.

Senior Susie Babos currently holds the No. 10 ranking among singles players and is joined in the top-100 by fellow seniors Marion Ravelojaona (No. 52) and Cristina Visico (No. 54). Junior Bojana Bobusic is No. 31, her highest career singles ranking. Susie Babos and senior Stephanie Kusano combine to form the No. 36-ranked doubles team.
