Stanford completed a solid weekend at day two of the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinal achieved several season bests and one NCAA automatic mark.

The national automatic mark came from Graeme Hoste in the pole vault. Hoste vaulted 18-0 ½ to secure his place at the national championships in March. The vault was also a personal best for Hoste, improving his mark that was already second all-time for Stanford indoors.

In the 200 meters a trio of Cardinal sprinters ran their season best. Andrew Dargie led the way for Stanford with a time of 21.87 seconds. He was followed by Durell Coleman with a time of 22.52 seconds and Myles Bradley with a time of 22.60 seconds.

The women were led by Arantxa King for the second consecutive day. King achieved a national provisional mark in the triple jump of 42-0. The jump also placed her third on Stanford's all-time indoor triple jump list.

Also, performing well for the Cardinal women was Shataya Hendricks who ran a collegiate best time of 24.48 seconds in the 200 meters.

Stanford ran a limited squad at the Tyson Invitational with much of the team competing in Seattle, Wash. at the Husky Invitational.
