With coaches, executives, scouts and medical personnel from all 32 NFL teams in attendance, the combine has become the all-important event leading up to the NFL Draft. Players will go through a series of tests which will measure them physically, mentally and medically. The California football team has seven players who have earned invites to the event.

The Golden Bears who earned invitations to the combine are safety Thomas DeCoud, running back Justin Forsett, offensive lineman Mike Gibson, wide receiver DeSean Jackson, wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins, punter Andrew Larson and tight end Craig Stevens. Only three collegiate teams had more players invited to this year's combine. Click each player's name for updated biographical information.

'I'm ready,' Forsett said Monday after attending an interview training session. 'I feel confident. I didn't know how much work went into it, but now I'm excited to go up there and get it done.'

The combine is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, with players divided into different groups for the various tests. Offensive linemen, tight ends and specialists will have their workouts on Saturday; quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers will work out on Sunday; defensive linemen and linebackers work out on Monday and cornerbacks and safeti4es will be worked out on Tuesday.
