Heffernan Resigns as Washington State Volleyball Coach

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State University volleyball head coach Brian Heffernan has resigned.

'We have begun a national search and will thoroughly research and evaluate the coaching talent in order to fill this head coaching position at WSU,' Director of Athletics Jim Sterk said.

Heffernan coached four seasons with the Cougars, compiling a 39-87 overall record.

Associate head coach Ken Ko (three years) and assistant coach Gretchen Killebrew (first year) are currently continuing their duties with the WSU volleyball program including leading the team in its spring conditioning and practice schedule.
