Former Trojans Shine At USA Indoor Track And Field Championships

Former Trojans Angela Williams, Candice Davis and Jesse Williams all shined this weekend at the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships held in Boston, Mass.

Angela Williams has returned to health this season and has returned to the head of the pack, winning the 60m dash with a time of 7.11. Williams is the USC 100m record-holder with a time of 11.04 and a four-time NCAA Champion in the 100m dash.

Davis placed second in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.90, just .02 seconds behind winner Lolo Jones. Davis is second all-time on USC's 100m HH list with a time of 12.90 and placed second at the 2007 NCAA Championships in the event.

Jesse Williams took second place in the men's high jump with a clearance of 7-5 3/4. Williams is the USC record-holder in the high jump at 7-7 1/4 and won the NCAA indoor and outdoor high jump championships in 2005 and 2006.
