UW Baseball Rained Out On Sunday

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Washington's baseball game vs. UC Riverside, scheduled for today (Sunday, Feb. 24) at 1:00 p.m., has been cancelled due to rain.

The Huskies and Highlanders will finish their four-game series Monday with a 1:00 p.m. game, as previously scheduled. Saturday, UW and UCR played a doubleheader in anticipation of poor weather Sunday.

Riverside has won two of the first three games of the series, winning 3-2 on Friday and 6-3 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. In the nightcap, UW second baseman Bradley Boyer and third baseman Aaron Russell had six hits each as the Huskies rolled to a 19-4 win.
