Sixth-Ranked Bruins to Host UC Santa Barbara, Travel to Pacific Coast Doubles
The No. 6 UCLA men's tennis team (7-1) has just one dual match this week, hosting UC Santa Barbara (3-2) on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Following that encounter, the Bruins will head down to La Jolla, Calif. to take part in the 119th Pacific Coast Doubles Championships at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. The Pacific Coast Doubles Championships is not a college tournament, thus results will not count in the official player records. Draws from the tournament can be found by clicking HERE

Fans unable to attend any match at the Los Angeles Tennis Center can follow the action live at UCLA's official website. The live stats can be accessed either by going to the men's tennis schedule or by clicking on the 'Live Stats' icon located on the main men's tennis page. Or by clicking HERE

Rain Washes Out Weekend Play
Rain in the Southern California Area forced the cancellation of both Bruin matches over the weekend. UCLA was able to start play against both Arizona State on Friday and Arizona on Saturday, however it began to rain during doubles and the matches were eventually canceled. Since neither match was going to count in the Pac-10 standings anyway, they will not be made up at a later date.

Top 25 Opponents Loom Ahead
Tennis fans in Southern California are in for a treat in the next few weeks, as the Bruins will host four top 25 teams in the span of eight days. UCLA kicks off its four-match home stand with No. 24 Rice on Wednesday, March 5. The Bruins will then host No. 7 USC (March 6), No. 11 Baylor (March 10) and No. 10 Duke (March 12).

Bruins Stay at No. 6
New team rankings were released on Tuesday and the Bruins held the No. 6 spot for the second week in a row. Individual rankings from Feb. 20 have Mathieu Dehaine as UCLA's highest ranked singles player, checking in at No. 25. He is followed by No. 28 Holden Seguso, No. 44 Harel Srugo and No. 100 Nick Meister. Dehaine and Seguso are also ranked No. 47 in doubles.
