To Be the Best...
As always, the Sun Devils will play one of the toughest schedules in the country, possibly the toughest in program history this year, combining a strong non-conference slate with the always powerful Pac-10 Conference schedule.
With the Sun Devils win over Auburn, 26th year Head Coach Lou Belken has now recorded 300 wins as the Sun Devils Head Coach.
Matt Brooklyn and John Nanosky II are currently undefeated in dual match singles play. Brooklyn has played every match in the number one position while Nanosky has enjoyed perfection at the number six spot.
Pac-10 Player of the Week-
Matt Brooklyn was named Pac-10 Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 11-17. Brooklyn, playing out of the No. 1 position in singles, remained undefeated (5-0) over the weekend to lead the Sun Devils to victories on the road over Marquette and Northwestern and maintain their undefeated record in dual match play (5-0). On Saturday, Brooklyn battled back from a set down to take his match against Trent Hagan of Marquette 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (10-7), leading the Sun Devils to a 4-3 victory.
