Brandon Roy To Appear On

SEATTLE -- Former Washington Husky superstar and current NBA All-Star Brandon Roy will give viewers an exclusive 30-minute look into his life on the latest installment of FSN's In My Own Words, brought to you by Magnolia and Samsung. The debut will take place on Wednesday, March 5th at 8:30 p.m. as the former Garfield high standout talks about his high school career and what influenced the decisions he made on his journey to becoming the 2007 NBA Rookie of the Year.

Roy concluded his collegiate career as a first-team All-American. Roy ranks No. 10 among all-time UW scorers with 1,477 career points.

He is the first former Husky selected to the All-Star team since three-time selection Detlef Schrempf played in the 1993, 1995 and 1997 All-Star Games.
