WSU Up for 2008 Pontiac Pac-10 Game Changing Performance of the Year

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State's dominant defensive performance during its 62-53 win at Oregon. Feb. 16, was named as a Pontiac Pac-10 Game Changing Performance on Fox Sports Net.
With that selection, WSU was awarded $1,000 to its general scholarship fund, courtesy of Pontiac. Now through March 14 at noon, Cougar fans can determine whether WSU will be awarded $10,000 by voting for the Cougars as the 2008 Pontiac Pac-10 Game Changing Performance of the Year.
Go to http://www.pac-10.org/pontiac/ to view all six performances selected by Fox Sports Net throughout the 2008 season and to vote. The school that receives the most votes will be announced March 14 during the Pacific Life Pac-10 Men's Tournament Championship Game on Fox Sports Net at 8:30 p.m., and will be awarded $10,000 to their general scholarship fund, compliments of Pontiac.
Oregon, which made 32 3-pointers and averaged 81.5 points in its two previous games, was held to four 3-pointers on 17 attempts and 25.9 points below its season scoring average by the Cougars' defense, which entered the game ranked third nationally.
