Anthony Vaults 13-7 To Qualify For NCAA Indoor Championships

Freshman Tori Anthony cleared 13-7 in the pole vault at the NCAA Last Chance qualifying meet in Seattle, WA to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships. Anthony came into the meet with a UCLA best mark of 13-1 and now moves into the top-15 in the nation this season with today's performance.

Also in Seattle, senior Ingrid Kantola and Katy Viuf tied for second with identical vaults of 13-1, while junior Megan Jamerson placed ninth with a clearance of 12-7.25.

Anthony will most likely be the sole Bruin representing the women's team at the NCAA Indoor meet, held next Thursday and Friday in Fayetteville, AR.
