Watson, Hanley, Miller & White Post Wins At Northridge Relays

Danielle Watson, Mary Hanley, Catherine White and Allie Miller each posted a win in their respective events on Saturday to highlight the Bruin women at the Northridge Relays.

Watson won the 'A' section of the long jump with a mark of 19-4.26, Hanley won the 'A' hammer with a throw of 150-2, White won the discus with a season-best mark of 137-7 and Miller was first in the high jump with a clearance of 5-7.

White also threw a lifetime-best 42-4.25 in the shot put to place seventh overall. Maryann Wee jumped a season-best 5-7 in the high jump to place second. The Bruins swept the top three spots in the hammer with Hanley leading the way. White (141-1, 2nd) and Katie Laich (137-7, 3rd) also threw lifetime-bests during the hammer competition. Hanley also threw a season-best 133-5 in the discus to place third overall.

In the 'A' pole vault, Katy Viuf and Ingrid Kantola cleared the regional qualifying height of 12-7.50 to place second and fourth, respectively.
