The Golden Bears won all but one match on their way to a rout of the Dons. The sweep is the second 7-0 win for the Bears in their last three dual matches. Junior Eoin Heavey clinched the win for Cal by defeating Asaf Cohen on court two, holding on for a 7-3 tiebreaker victory in the second set. Heavey finished his match with a 6-0, 7-6 score.

With the weather holding up for a complete match, the Bears got out to a good start when Heavey and sophomore Kallim Stewart took an 8-1 win over Rainer Nachbauer and Thong Tu on the second doubles court. The Dons tied up the doubles point tally with a win on the top court as Asaf Cohen and Falko Huettenberger defeated the Bears' junior Geoff Chizever and freshman Pedro Zerbini in an 8-6 match. Cal notched the doubles point with a win on court three coming from an 8-6 effort by freshmen Jonathan Dahan and Bozhidar Katsarov over USF's Torin Ching and Mitch Del Rosario.

In singles play, the Bears pushed their lead with a win from Zerbini on court three, finishing with a quick 6-0, 6-2 score over Nachbauer. Senior captain Ken Nakahara put in a 6-1, 6-1 win over Del Rosario on court six to run the Bears' lead to 3-0. Heavey finished next on court two to seal the deal for Cal. Dahan got the Bears' fifth point of the day with a 6-1, 7-5 win against Einar Hart on court four. With the match decided, No. 96-ranked Stewart completed a 6-0, 7-5 win on court one against Tu before Katsarov closed play for the day with his 6-2, 7-6 win over Huettenberger on court five.
