SEATTLE - Like their male counterparts, the Washington women's golf team will head south down the I-5 corridor to compete in Duck Invitational hosted by the University of Oregon, Monday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 25.
The 12th edition of the women's Duck Invite will be held at the par 72, 6,052-yard Eugene Country Club for the first time since 2004. The 54-hole tournament will feature two 18-hole rounds on Monday and the final round on Tuesday. Action starts both days at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
Joining Washington in the 14-team field will be No. 15 California, No. 43 Oregon, Washington State, Colorado, UC Davis, Oregon State, Idaho, Long Beach State, Minnesota, Montana, Portland State, Texas-San Antonio and Wyoming.
Live stats for the tournament will be available on GolfStat.com.
The Huskies are coming off a 10th-place finish at last week's UNLV Spring Invitational, bolstered by the play of sophomore Christina Yoon who tallied a career-best third-place individual finish. She is coming off back-to-back top-five finishes after placing fourth at the Spartan Invitational (March 3-4).
