SEATTLE - With just two more regular season tournaments on tap, the Washington men's golf team heads to Columbia, Mo., for the first annual UMB Bank-Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate Classic, Monday, April 7 through Tuesday, April 8.

The tournament will be held at The Club at Old Hawthorne which will play at par-72 and 6,204 yards. The 54-hole tournament will feature 36 holes played on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Tee times each day will begin at 8 a.m. CT.

Joining Washington in the team field will be host Missouri, Michigan State, Michigan, Arkansas, Wichita State, Indiana, Kansas State, Iowa State, Xavier and San Jose State. Five of the squads are ranked in the latest GolfWeek Top-50 including No. 22 Michigan State, No. 23 Wichita State, No. 24 Indiana, No. 39 Arkansas and No. 40 Michigan. The Huskies will be paired in the first group with Missouri and Arkansas.

The UW lineup will include junior John Wise, freshman Tze Huang Choo, sophomore Nick Taylor, senior Zach Bixler and sophomore Darren Wallace.

After the Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate Classic, the Huskies will head to Stanford for their last regular season tournament - the U.S. Intercollegiate, April 19-20. The Pac-10 Championships, hosted by California, will be held April 28-30.

Washington is coming off a sixth-place finish at last week's Oregon Duck Invitational. Junior John Wise led the Huskies in Creswell with his second-career top-10 finish, tying for ninth on the individual leaderboard (4-over 220). The Huskies are led by sophomore Nick Taylor's 72.50 overall stroke average.
