Play Suspended at Administaff Augusta State Invitational

April 5, 2008

Inclement weather has shortened the Administaff Augusta State Invitational to 36 holes after play was suspended in Saturday's second round at The Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Ga.

The Bruins, who were leading the field at four-under par following the opening round on Friday, were called off the course at 10:44 a.m. local time due to heavy rains. After a nearly four-hour delay, second round play was moved to Sunday and the tournament was shortened to 36 holes.

The final round will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Apr. 6.
